Blog:How to Identify Fake UGG Designer Boots

uggs on sale, also referred to as uggs or ug boots, are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface worn by both men and women. The UGG Australia story began in 1978, when Brian Smith, a young surfer from Australia, took a trip to the United States with a bag full of sheepskin boots.
Now let me introduce you something about how to identify fake ugg designer boots.
First Research the seller of the Ugg boots. Various Internet websites that specialize in selling designer clothing and fashion, such as eBay and similar auction websites, are known to be places where sellers try to get rid of fake designer knockoffs
Second Check the price. If the price for the Ugg boots are too good to be true, it most likely is. UGG Ultra Short Boots are known to be quite expensive. Classic Ugg boots start at about $60, though various other UGG Ultra Tall Boots fashions and styles can cost up to $200. A cheap pair of Ugg boots may mean they are fake, counterfeit designer goods.
Third Read the Ugg boot tag. If it’s made in China, they are genuine Ugg boots.
Fouth Feel the boot material and inspect the manufacturing. Real Ugg boots are made with high-quality cloth and material, and the stitches and workmanship will be solid.
Five Avoid buying Ugg boots from un-reputable third parties. Purchase Ugg boots from reputable sellers and dealers to protect yourself from wasting money on cheap Ugg boots that aren’t the real thing.

For the first time in a long time, Dubai is now a buyer’s market, but as a result of heavy job losses and a shrinking population, there simply are not many buyers.
For Mr Kuceli, changing how he does business could be starting to pay off.
The four-bedroom villa in The Meadows, that failed to meet its reserve at the auction, now has a buyer.
“This sale is a real milestone for us,” he says.
“It reconfirms our belief that the auction method will work in Dubai.

Discount retailers

The Loot is one of India’s discount retail chains that hopes to benefit from consumers getting more price-conscious.
The group buys surplus products cheaply from big brands and sells them at discounted prices and the recession has been good for them.
Jay Gupta, who heads the store, says they are aiming to double the 100 shops they currently have and eventually list on the stock market.
“The recession is ideal for shops like ours to do good business. People who wouldn’t have normally looked for bargains are now looking for good deals,” he says.

Looking ahead, Shell’s chief executive Peter Voser said global demand for oil remained “weak”.
“There is ample supply and not enough demand. Quite a turnaround from a year ago.
“Shell is adapting to this new situation, and we must do more. We are sharpening our focus on delivery and affordability,” he said.
The company said it would continue to cut costs after achieving savings of $700m in the first half of 2009. It said it had now trimmed 20% of senior management positions.
Despite the fall in profits, Shell said it would be maintaining its dividend to $0.42 per share, an increase of 5% from a year ago.

blog:Turkey sends fire-fighting plane to help Greece

Turkey sent Monday a fire-fighting plane to help Greece battle the raging fire which has devoured forests and forced thousands to leave their homes near Athens since late Friday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.

The water bomber, which is capable of carrying 4.5 tons of water, took off from the southern Turkish province of Antalya and would depart for Greece after refueling in the Foca district of the Aegean province of Izmir, the agency quoted Nurettin Dogan, a forest management official, as saying.

On Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu spoke with his Greek counterpart Dora Bakoyannis on phone and offered help to put out the fire, diplomatic sources told the agency.

Davutoglu told Bakoyannis that the Turkish government and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan are closely monitoring the disaster, while Bakoyannis said the Greek government would be pleased if civil protection teams from the two countries could cooperate in fighting fire and that Greece urgently needed fire-fighting planes, sources told the agency.

Blog: Historical truth

That same concern with historical truth is on the minds of more and more Spaniards as the country marks the 70th anniversary. Spanish society is becoming more interested in knowing the full story about its recent history, from the Civil War to the death of dictator Gen Franco in 1975
Jose Ortunez and his Guernica History Association have spent 30 years reconstructing the truth about what happened here in 1937. The forces of Gen Franco blamed the attack on their enemy in the Civil War: the Communist-backed Republican government.
Thanks partly to work by people like Jose, Spaniards know the truth, that the attack from the air was by German and Italian planes supporting General Franco

Blog: Unique UGG Boot

uggs on sale are fast becoming one of the fashion trends of the decade. The Ugg boot is usually a high fitting boot, mostly coming up above the ankle, and usually much higher.
It is now the norm to find Ugg boots in the stores and online which feature a wide range of colors including bright reds and greens or pinks, and all sorts of other bright colors. In the past you had little choice for your Classic Uggs Mini Boots but they are now available in a wide range of colors and styles.
The Ugg boot is not a hardwearing boot like a leather boot though, and you need to take a little care with your Uggs boot. They are a soft boot but made with a hard plastic sole, with the sheepskin sewn onto the sole. The sole is generally hard wearing but the sheepskin sides can be prone to getting dirty very easily, though they can be easily washed.
But as any UGG Classic Short Boots devotee will tell you, a good pair of Uggs will be the most comfortable footwear you will ever have on your feet.

blog:Radio station invites t-shirt designs

Texas Blues Radio is giving its listeners the chance to design its 2007 t-shirts.

A new range of t-shirts, baseball caps and barbeque aprons are introduced each year.

The design has to be printed on black or white tees – one colour only – and must be original artwork, Texas Blue states.

Listeners will be able to submit their tee-shirt design entries until January 5th.

In addition, organisers have requested the t-shirt prints be reversible, so that the same design is “printable in either light ink on dark cloth or dark ink on light cloth”.

Earlier this month, the Boston Globe reported that two young t-shirt designers are making a “fashion sensation”.

Katie Kelly and Kris Ewton started to design their own t-shirts, launching their line Kovet Kouture.

“We were all sick of paying $80 for designer tees,” Ms Newton, 25, told the publication.

The girls use plain t-shirts to print their designs on, emblazoning them with their own logos.

blog:T-shirt manufacturer to restructure

T-shirt, sweatshirt and polo shirt manufacturer Hanesbrands has announced plans to close a distribution centre in Florida.

Hanesbrands described the Weston centre as “high-cost”, indicating that its closure will take place alongside consolidation of two Winston-Salem facilities in North Carolina.

Some 79 jobs at the plant in Weston will be transferred to the newly established Winston-Salem site.

Gerald Evans, Hanesbrands executive vice president and chief global supply chain officer, said: “We are moving quickly to drive improvements throughout our global supply chain.”

He added that the west-coast “offers a preferred location” for products currently distributed through the Florida centre.

“In Winston-Salem, we will significantly increase the efficiency of those operations by consolidating two leased facilities into other existing leased space,” Mr Evans asserted.

The firm, which manufactures apparel under brand names such as Hanes, Champion and Playtex, will take on charges of around $8 million (£4.3 million) in order to complete the Florida closure, with operations expected to cease by March 2007

blog:T-shirt manufacturer to be asked to cover insurance costs

US-based t-shirt manufacturer Fruit of the Loom is to be asked to cover a portion, or all of the increased insurance costs at its Louisiana site Jeanerette Mills, it has emerged.

Insurance for the property, which is leased by Fruit of the Loom, is to run out next week.

The current insurance coverage is based on an appraisal of $9.6 million (£5.2 million) for the Jeanerette Mills building, although Armond Schwing, of Schwing Insurance Agency, said the figure should be closer to $17 million, reports the Daily Iberian.

Storms in the area have forced insurance costs up, Mr Schwing said, with the costs of replacing the t-shirt manufacturing plant now greater than insurance premiums.

“The replacement cost is a lot more than the appraisal amount, presenting a problem if the building ever has to be rebuilt from the ground up,” he told the Louisiana newspaper.

“[Jeanerette] is not the only place experiencing this, homeowners are, businesses are and it’s all because of the storms,” Mr Schwing added.

In related news, proposals to regenerate the site of an old Fruit of the Loom factory on Ireland’s east-cost have been rejected.
